2016: 5 months in France

And just like that it’s 2016. Happy new year!

And if you’re wondering what this weird title is about, you’ve read that right. Almost half of 2016 for me will be spent in France, since I’m participating in the Erasmus program for undergraduates. This week I’m boarding on a plane from Athens and going to Limoges in central France. I’m going to be studying and living there. Hopefully, I’ll be able to travel to some parts of Europe as well.

It’s been a long time since I’ve known about this and it required a few months of planning and paperwork, but it’s finally happening. I’m going. It’s surreal. And I’m feeling everything at once. So I’m hopefully going to be writing from France in a few days about my experiences abroad!

(This gif couldn’t sum it up better)

I don’t know what this year will bring but it’s definitely going to involve a lot of adventure.

I’m cutting it short this time (packing requires an early morning start), but it won’t be too long.

I hope your year was off to a great start.

‘Till next time,

Kleanthi
