Let’s talk about music – Vol 1

There are a few things I can’t live without and one of them is definitely music. I have a close relationship with music since I was born(even when I was in my mom’s , I was listening to music and going to concerts, yes my mom’s a weirdo), I play the piano and the guitar and I listen to music quite a lot.

I have my phases with music and what I listen to usually depends on my mood. If I’m happy, it’s funky, pop, jazz, feel-good melodies. If I’m angry, it’s hard rock and if I’m sad, it’s greek.

So here’s what I’m listening to now.

1) Gramatik. Almost always when I’m on the bus, I’m traveling, I’m reading a book. It’s really easy to listen to and I find myself singing the beats on my own all the time.

My favourites: So much for love, In this whole world, While I was playing fair

2) The Black Keys. El camino is my go to album. However, 10 am automatic from Rubber Factory and Your Touch from Magic Potion are those that get a replay every time.

3) Odesza. I have three words for you. All we need. No, it’s not an album, it’s a song.

And in case you don’t fall in love right away, there is always the whole album for your pleasure.

One of my guilty pleasures though, is Taylor Swift. She has been on top with her music lately and her videos are incredible. Bad Blood is an action movie, not a music video. I have to thank my sister for introducing me to the song or maybe I should curse her, because I have seen it way too many times.

The cat’s out of the bag now. But it’s not over yet, ’cause this might be a monthly thing.

See you next time,

K

P.S.- I’m waiting for your comments. Suggest me a new band or a great song. I’m waiting! 😀
